Julio Franco Still Going Strong

By: Bob Johnson   Date: April 18, 2006

Julio Franco pinch hit for the Milwaukee Brewers yesterday vs. the Mets. Franco is playing his 22nd year in the Majors. He will be 48 years old in August. He was a starter last year for Atlanta. He has a lifetime batting average right at .300 (.299). For a career that has spanned more than two decades, that is not too shabby. Franco has played for a whopping eight teams with his salad days being with Cleveland, Texas and Atlanta. He has been one of the best pure hitters in baseball for a long time, long time. His career started in the majors in 1982 and he still has the same sleek physique he had when he started out.

We swept the board (3-0) in the bases last night and last year the NBA PLAYOFFS were a cash cow! The opportunity to profit is great with the combination of bases & baskets right now! Don't miss anymore winners. Give me a call and join us today!
