Basketball Phone Plays on a 14-2 Run

We are hotter than a six-shooter on the 4th of July in basketball. I have been telling you to get on me in this roundball. We are burying the books and raking the profits. This NFL season has been the most difficult I can recall. The regular season favorites won 57% of the time and the Sports Books and Wise Guys alike had a tough year. Veteran sports books say they haven't had a year like it in almost two decades. I told you that half of the teams in the NFL were the lousiest I have ever seen. In some cases injuries played a part and in others it was bad coaching or a quarterback problem or front-office meddling. Whatever the case, none of those dogs could cover the damn spread like they usually do. There will be 10 new coaches next year because of such ineptitude. Speaking of ineptitude, how about getting 10 new referees too! Don't get me started. Shouldn't the refs look at the replay in real-time rather than slow-motion?
