The Point Spread Column

It is interesting to note that in Interleague baseball the American League is clobbering the National League by a margin of almost 2-1. My last unofficial count was the AL 41-22 over the NL. That is a 65% win percentage for the American League teams in Interleague play.

The NBA Finals are over and the Miami Heat prevailed in the exciting season. Three of the 6 games were decided by 1, 2 and 3 points. My vote for MVP is not budding superstar Dwayne Wade, but coach Pat Riley. The Heat would not have climbed the mountain had it not been for Riley. Once again, he has proven, as I have always known, that he is one of the greatest coaches in NBA history. We finished our NBA season ranked in the TOP 5 in the country in NBA winning percentage! We were ranked # 4 at 56.98% for services who played a minimum of 60 games or more over the season as monitored by Trackpicks.

At this time, our Spring Season is closed. We will return when Preseason Football begins. As you know, we cover the last 2 weeks of preseason NFL to start. It is time for me to get some things done that I usually delay for a year in order to handicap and to take a few days off. Have a great summer.
