The Point Spread Column

We finished at 13-10 for the week since last Monday. That is certainly not as good as I would have liked, but better than losing. The parity that I have written about in college basketball has truly arrived if last week's games are any indication. There were 4 overtime games and other last second wins like UCLA vs. Gonzaga. We had good wins by LSU over Duke and Texas, and Boston College covering in O.T. vs. Villanova. We had fortunate ones like Florida laying 3 over Georgetown by 4. That push on Washington vs. UConn hurt and we got twigged by a half point late in the Orlando game last night. However, we swept the colleges yesterday with wins on Florida and can we ever forget .. George Mason !! What a tournament. Nobody's bracket is still intact, but this has probably been the best tourney of all time in a lot of ways.
